About Me

Hello! I'm Prathamesh Ingale, a dedicated security professional and developer with a laser focus on Authentication & Identity Management.

With a strong background in both Linux and Windows environments, I specialize in building secure, scalable, and efficient authentication systems. My work primarily revolves around:

  • PAM (Pluggable Authentication Modules): Developing and maintaining custom PAM modules for Linux to enforce granular access controls.
  • Identity Providers (IdP): Implementation, configuration, and maintenance of enterprise-grade IdP solutions.
  • Network Security: Securing network perimeters using firewalls and configuring complex VPN setups for remote access.

I am proficient in a wide range of authentication protocols including LDAP, RADIUS, SAML, OAuth 2.0, and FIDO2. I enjoy deep diving into the intricacies of these protocols to ensure robust security postures.

Through this blog, I aim to document my learnings, share technical guides on PAM module development, and explore the evolving landscape of digital identity and security.
